Organizing the Collection

Helen Uffner Vintage has hundreds upon hundreds of items, ranging from garments to accessories to vintage magazines and patterns. The collection starts at the Victorian Era and moves through to present day. This company works to supply the entertainment industry with historical garments that can be rented for a extended period time. While working there, Parker assisted in reorganizing the collection, making sure that each object was where it was supposed to be. Through this, she became extremely familiar with the space and was able to help customers select pieces for their projects. Everyday, Parker would pull objects and put them back, while also making sure that they were housed properly. She assisted in light control and even basic conservation treatments.
